The weather this week was mostly sunny, with only a couple of gloomy days. In Costa Rica, they have two seasons; dry season and rainy season. Right now we have just begun the transition from dry to rainy season!
This week specifically I have seen many dogs and cats in the streets. At night I often hear the cats fighting on my roof, which was a huge shock at first but I am used to it now. In other areas of Costa Rica, I have been able to see dart frogs, sloths, monkeys, and even chameleons.
The coolest thing I saw in nature this week was the cats on my roof! This week especially the cats got close to my window. The sunsets here have especially been beautiful with the combination of mountains and city views.
A couple of weeks ago I experienced my first earthquake! I was lying in bed and felt the slightest shake, but it was enough to knock something off my desk. After, I googled to see if what I felt was true and it was!
