Travel News

How far did I travel this week?:

This week, I traveled a large amount. The distance from Exeter to Glasgow is 450 miles. I also journeyed to Inverness, Isle of Skye, Edinburgh, Mallaig and London.

How far have I traveled on this journey so far?:

During this journey, I have been to many places, mostly in South England. I have traveled many miles by car, bus, train and plane to go to cities like Salisbury, Wool, West Lulworth, Exmouth, London and the cities in Scotland.

How did I get around this week?:

This week I took a plane from Exeter to Glasgow, and then trains and busses the rest of the week. One day, I took a train all the way from Glasgow to Mallaig just so that I could see the Highlands and the Glenfinnan Viaduct. I also took a bus tour of the Isle of Skye, Eileen Donan and Loch Ness from Inverness. At the end of my trip, I rode on an overnight sleeper train from Edinburgh to London. Since the car with seats was having technical difficulties, everyone with seats got upgraded to a room. It was really cool to sleep on a rocking train while journeying through the countryside.

What was the most interesting place I visited this week?:

The most interesting place I visited this week was the Loch Ness. When I was younger, I read a book with the Loch Ness monster in it. Since then, I have always wanted to visit the loch.
