Interview with Genesis

How do you get to school? Are you allowed to go to school by yourself?:

I walk to school. I go every day with my sister, Jazlyn, and my neighbor, Estefan. I am allowed to walk to school by myself, but I usually go with my sister and Estefan.

 

Where do you eat lunch? What is your favorite food?:

I eat lunch at home after school. My favorite food is ceviche, which is a very popular seafood dish in Peru.

 

What language do you speak at school? How do you say "Hello" in your language?:

At school, we speak Spanish. “Hello” in Spanish is hola.

 

What are some common kids' names at your school?:

Some common kid names at my school are Cia, Santiago, Gerald, Luana, Genesis (My name) and Cielo.

 

What subjects do you study in school, and which one is your favorite?:

In school, we study English, computers, mathematics, communication, personal socialising (we learn emotions, rules of society, etc), religion, and writing. My favorite subject is English.

 

What is your homework like?:

We always get a lot of homework from Professor Jaime. It sometimes is difficult, and sometimes it's easy. I do not like doing homework.

What do you like to do after school? Do you have a favorite sport or game?:

After school, I like to play in the street with my sister Jazlyn, my neighbor Estefan, and my brother Rowan. My favorite sport to play is volleyball.
