This week was a very typical winter week in Grenoble with gray skies and lots of rain! Coming from dry Colorado, I am not used to seeing so much rain! We did have one very beautiful sunny day during the week. The temperatures remain pretty chilly, around 35-45 degrees Fahrenheit, which is typical for late January. I also experienced a typical wintry rain and wind in Paris, which were the perfect conditions to see the Eiffel Tower: with no people!
Unfortunately, there isn’t too much wildlife in the city Grenoble. I often see many species of birds including lots of doves and pigeons, as well as red squirrels. Though, one exciting thing was that I got to see a whole bunch of sheep or les moutons on the side of the road on my afternoon walk!
