The farthest I traveled this week was to 街道口 (jiedaokou), which is also referred to as the Creative City. It is about a 15-minute walk from my apartment and it is a bustling center with a few shopping malls (yes, a few!) and lots and lots of places to eat.
The farthest I’ve traveled on this journey so far has definitely been Xi’an! That city is in a totally different province and you need to take a train or plane to get there.
This week, I stayed pretty close to home and only used my own two feet to get around. Last weekend, I had food poisoning so I spent a lot of this week resting--I didn’t want to overexert myself while my body was still recovering.
I think the Russian restaurant takes the cake for this question. Who knew an award-winning Russian restaurant could be found tucked away between a gym and a fruit store, and in Wuhan to boot!
