I traveled from Delhi to Mumbai this week and have an upcoming trip to Jaipur, another capital city in India. Delhi to Mumbai is a little more than 850 miles of travel and takes around two hours by flight.
So far, I have traveled to multiple cities across India, including Bangalore, Chandigarh, Mumbai and Kochi.
Uber is my main form of transport. It is very cheap in India, and a 40 minute Uber ride, for example, costs around $4.00. I also sometimes take the metro if I have enough time. Delhi has a very good metro system that I will talk about in greater detail in my transportation blog.
The most interesting place I visited this week was the Nehru museum in Delhi, where I watched a talk given by the Deputy U.S. ambassador to India, Edgard Kagan, discuss U.S.-India relations.
This upcoming week will be attending the Jaipur international literature festival. Be ready, will be coming in hot!
