This week I did not travel that far. I'm still learning my way around the neighborhood! The area that I live in is called Anam, and a lot of Korea University students live here. Because of that reason, there are many cafes in the area.
I traveled 6,563 miles to fly from the U.S. to South Korea. I haven't seen much of Seoul outside of the neighborhood I live in. I plan on exploring more next week.
Currently, I'm enjoying walking to all my destinations, although I have also taken the subway multiple times this week to go shopping. I went to Dongmyo, which is known for its popular thrift market. Dongmyo is only one stop away from Anam. The subway system in Korea is very efficient, and I use the Kakaotalk app to navigate routes. It's also considered rude to be loud on the train, so most people are very quiet.
The most interesting place I visited this week was Insa-dong, a shopping district in Korea where you can find antiques and souvenirs. Therefore this place is an attraction for many people who visit Korea. There were so many interesting little shops selling Korean dining utensils and KPop fan art.
