How far did I travel this week?:

I stayed on campus for the majority of the weekdays. At the weekends, however, I went out and enjoyed hanging out with my friends and going along with whatever they were planning to do: whether that's exploring San Ramon and checking out the local restaurants and dance scene or catching the bus to visit the nearby city, we typically try to find something to do every week!

How far have I traveled on this journey so far?:

In terms of exploring San Ramon, I've traveled far! I've explored the local market, clinics and the central park. There are lots of small businesses and personal shops instead of big chains, here, so there's always much to see here. In terms of the rest of Costa Rica, I've traveled to Puntarenas, Jaco Beach, Cuajiniquil, and San Jose. In the upcoming weeks, I hope I can highlight some of these specific locations for you all!

How did I get around this week?:

Walk. Walk. Walk. That has been such a breath of fresh air since living in Costa Rica. I didn't realize how dependant I was on driving and how incredibly uncoordinated I was in terms of walking. For the first two week that I was in San Ramon, I was tired racing to my university every morning (as I'm pretty short, a ten minute walk takes me an additional five to ten minutes).
