Travel News

I got to go up to the observatory on the top floor to see an incredible 360-degree view of the city and the surrounding mountains. I also learned all about the mass damper, which is a large metal ball near the top of the building that acts as a pendulum and keeps the tower from swaying too much. If you're not a fan of heights, you can admire the building from the outside instead. After I went inside of Taipei 101, I hiked up 象山 (xiàngshān), or elephant mountain, to get a good view of the building and the rest of the city skyline. I love Taipei 101!

Other Travel News from this week:

I had a lot of fun exploring the city, but I think I might need a new pair of shoes. According to the step counter on my watch, I walked almost 100 miles this week!
