Since it is getting near the Christmas season, I was lucky enough to aid the UCC Green Campus society in making wreaths from Ivy and evergreen. UCC aims to have a sustainable campus. This means that there are no single-use coffee cups or plastic water bottles sold on campus. Further, the campus aims to conserve local wildlife such as The Common Pipistrelle, little brown bats that hide in Ivy and brambles during the day. Did you know some bats can be the size of your thumb?
