This week I've traveled over 300 miles. Most of my traveling is to the homes of research participants for interviews. Many of them live very far from the hospital, so I travel a lot.
In my four-months stay in Uganda, I have traveled over 7,000 miles.
This week I used a boda-boda to travel to the hospital; however, I mainly use a special hire to travel around town and to see the research participants.
The most interesting place I visited this week was the game park – Queen Elizabeth National Park. This park, formerly called Kazinga National Park, was renamed after Queen Elizabeth II when she visited the park in 1954.
I really enjoy traveling and seeing new places in southwestern Uganda. I'm glad I am working on a project that gives me the opportunity to travel around.
