It is famous for the small shops that line the streets, as well as its cafes and teashops. I visited by myself one day because a friend recommended it, and I enjoyed it so much that I went back the next day with some friends. There are so many different snack foods to try there and it's impossible to try them all by yourself. With friends, you can each have a small bite of everything. The thing I most enjoyed in Jin Li was sitting in a cafe and listening to a local singer with his guitar on the stage.
This weekend was supposed to be all about travel! In fact, there were some destinations that I wanted to visit with my friends, but when we went to buy train tickets, they were all sold out. Labor Day gave a lot of people the opportunity to travel, whether it's to their hometown or to a tourist destination. Perhaps this was a blessing in disguise, because I stayed local and was able to explore the city that I'll be living in for the next couple of months.
