I have walked an average of ten miles every day, and I am loving it. The metro is fast, and it also makes you walk around a lot more, which means I feel a lot better at the end of the day. I obviously went to Tula as well, but it's not too far from Moscow, only about two hours by train. This coming weekend, however, I am going to travel to Suzdl.
I have traveled roughly 450 miles on foot, plus all of the train stops I have taken. I feel like I may need new shoes after this adventure is over!
I used the trains, of course, but I also had an interview outside of Moscow, so I took a taxi. The taxis here can be ordered on your phone, and you can even order a car by itself for you to drive! I have walked somewhere every day and tried to find new places anytime I can.
I went to ЦУМ, which is a giant department store. I don't know how I haven't been to this store before, as it's right next to Red Square, but it had some of the most expensive clothes I have ever seen. There were suits there that cost more than I made all summer!
