This past weekend, I traveled to England to visit my friends. I took a bus from Brussels to London. The bus takes about seven to eight hours, and it has to go over the English Channel to get to London. Once I arrived in London, I waited for another bus that took me to Birmingham. I spent two days in Birmingham and one day in the city of Coventry.
So far, I have gone to three different cities in Belgium. I have traveled to Dinant, Bruges and Gent. I have also gone to England twice. In total, I have traveled over 5,000 miles on my journey. The next countries I want to visit are Germany and Switzerland.
If the place I wanted to go to took 30 minutes or less to get to, I walked. I try to walk as much as possible because I like to look at the scenery and people. It makes me feel more involved in the community when I walk because I am able to talk to people that I meet on the street. If I am not able to walk, I use the tram.
