I was out of the province for half of this past week visiting friends in Da Nang and Hoi An, but, from talking with my host the weather this past week has seemed fairly normal. The daily average is somewhere between 85 to 90 degrees Farenheight before including humidity. Including humidity, it is very normal for the weather to be in the low 100s. Similarly, although we are nearing the end of the rainy season, rain is to be expected anywhere from three to five days. If you find yourself the unfortunate circumstance of being caught out in a rainstorm, I recommend going inside the nearest cafe and waiting under the storm ends.
Although my province is fairly rural, it is urban enough that I do not frequently interact with a large variety of animals. My primary interaction with animals throughout Tay Ninh is rural dogs and cats that roam the streets. It is also fairly common to see cows and bulls on the side of the road.
