The water in the gorge is actually really cold, but there is a spot where sulfur deposits on the rocks, which makes the water really hot. It's almost like going in a hot tub! The sulfur also gives the surrounding rock a greenish color, which was really cool to see.
The fall weather in this part of Taiwan is very windy, which can often make it feel a lot cooler than it actually is.
