I traveled to Taitung City for my orphange activity, which is about 15.5 miles from Guan Shan. I also traveled to Li Song, which is about 29 miles from Guan Shan. Since we had to drive up mountain roads, it felt a lot further than it actually was!
With all of the different cities I've been to, I've traveled a total of about 425 miles so far in Taiwan! That's not including my weekly trip to the city and my trips to surrounding townships for school and Chinese class.
This week I rode my scooter everywhere I went.
The hike I did at Li Song Hot Spring was really interesting from beginning to end. The drive there had beautiful mountain views, and the gorge at the end of the hike was breathtaking. I've never seen mineral deposits on rocks like the rocks there had, so it was a really unique experience.
