It was so much fun to meet new kids and show them different songs, read them a story, and draw pictures with them!
Since I am trying to keep up with Taiwanese current events, I have been reading the Taipei Times newspaper almost everyday. It is interesting to see that although most of their news is different, they have some of the same stories that the U.S. has.
I played volleyball during gym class with my third graders. They get very competitive, so it was a lively game!
All of my students are preparing for an English competition in November, so I have spent almost every day practicing and preparing for it with them. It has been great to watch them improve, and I can't wait to see how they do when the competition day comes.
