The weather this week in Salaya, Thailand has been unpredictable. Some days were sunny and some days were cloudy. Some days will begin sunny and by the middle of the day, it will become rainy. Overall, there has been a lot of rain this week.
This week I saw lizards! Not the small, friendly lizards that hide in bushes, but very large creatures like the one in the photo! They look like they could be the biggest lizards in the world! First, I saw one swimming in the pond and I thought it was an otter. Later, I saw one on land and I was scared out of my mind! However, I was told that these lizards are common here and that they are pretty friendly.
The coolest thing I saw in nature this week had to be the lizards. Although I was scared at first, it was quite an unbelievable experience. The size and appearance of these creatures is amazing!
