The main language spoken here is Thai. However, a lot of people also speak English.
The money that is used here is called baht (prounounced 'bot'). Baht is very low in value. One U.S. dollar is equal to about thirty baht. The baht is mostly used as a bill just like an American dollar bill, but there are coins as well. The coins can range from one, two, five or 10 Baht coins. There are 20, 50, 100, 500 and 1,000 Baht bills.
A bottle of water usually costs 10 Baht. That is about 30 cents in the U.S.!
I had a nice dessert this week with a Caesar Salad. Later in the week, I also found some good pizza! I liked all three of these meals a lot!
This week, I listened to a lot of jazz music. I like the musician Jacob Collier very much!
This week, I went to a floating market! A market is a place where people sell a lot of different food and clothes. A floating market is when they sell these foods and clothes on water! At the floating market, we took a short boat ride up and down the river.
