I primarily stayed within my town, so I did not travel that far this week. The town where the zoo is located is about 7.5 miles away from me, so it wasn't a long trip to get there.
This is a tough one to answer! Considering I've already been to all the major cities- Bogotá, Medellín, Cali, and Cartagena- I would say I have traveled a fair bit! I hope to continue traveling as much as I can until the end of my grant, so there's still more to come!
I usually get around the city by taking the bus and walking! Buses are one of the most popular ways to get around town, and a single fare only costs COP$2400 (less than a dollar!). I also like to get my steps in by walking around town and taking in the landscapes around me. After all, the town isn’t that big, only six miles long!
