People come to the temple to worship Tudi Gong, pay their respects to their ancestors and pray for health, happiness and wellbeing. During celebrations, worshippers will often set off firecrackers as a way to show respect for the gods.
This was my first week in Taiwan following Winter Break. It’s nice to be back in an area where I am familiar with directions, the public transportation system and the local restaurants!
