Korean is the main language used in Seoul, but because it's a major city and full of tourists, you can find many who also speak English.
Korea uses the won for its currency. You can find 10, 50, 100 and 500 won in coins. The bills are found in increments of 1,000 up to 50,000 won and they follow the same 1, 5, 10, 50 pattern that the coin uses. One dollar is equivalent to 1,017 won.
Water bottles are roughly equal in value in Korea and in the U.S. Depending on the brand, the cheapest water bottle costs about 1,000 won, which is around one U.S dollar. You can find recognizable brands of bottled water like Fiji and other brands like Smart Water.
The best meal of this week was seafood pancakes. They are chewy and warm, plus they are very healthy and rich in flavor.
In the fall, we can hear a lot of slow and sweet music played in many stores and outdoor events. My favorite this week is DINDIN with the song "I'm Not Myself When I'm Around You". It gives you both summery and autumnal vibes.
