This week I went to Chamonix which is a nearby city also situated in the Alps. The mountains are very tall and beautiful surrounding the town. It is about one hour away from Annecy.
I have traveled many places while on my journey. The farthest I traveled outside of the country was to Budapest Hungary! The farthest I have traveled in France is Paris which is about 4 hours away from Annecy by speed train.
This week I got around by riding my bike and also the bus. Annecy has easy public transportation that takes me wherever I need to go. In addition, there are bike lanes and beatiful paths I can take on my bike.
This week I went to the office of a company dedicated to mountain sports! They make clothes, shoes tents, sleeping bags, and other gear that help someone go on an adventure in the mountains. Here we learned specifically how to design gloves.
