What jobs do your parents have?:

In our class, the parents have jobs like teacher, policeman, engineer, lawyer, accountant, doctor and reporter. 

What time does school start, and what time do you go home?:

School starts at 8:00 AM. It finishes at 1:00 PM, but we don't go home until 6:00 PM because we have activities like extra classes, language practice and sports.

How do you get to school? Are you allowed to go to school by yourself?:

Eight of us take the city bus. Most of us spend thirty minutes on the bus, but some people who live farther away have to spend one hour. We all take the bus by ourselves. One of us comes to school by car; her dad drives her. And one girl who lives really nearby walks herself to school every day. It only takes her five minutes. 

Where do you eat lunch? What is your favorite food?:

We eat lunch at school, in the cafeteria. It's "fast food," things that are already made. But some of our favorite foods are buuz, ice cream, fried rice with meat, candy, chicken soup, vegetable soup, french fries, mashed potatoes and candy. 

What language do you speak at school? How do you say "Hello" in your language?:

We speak Mongolian for most of our classes. We speak English during English class and Russian during Russian class. To say hello in Mongolian, we say Sain Baina Uu!
