What music did I listen to this week?:

The colmado (corner store) next to my house is always playing a mix of salsa, bachata and merengue music. I also like to listen to American artists like Bruce Springsteen and Olivia Rodrigo.

What activity was the most fun this week?:

My friends and I stayed in Santo Domingo for two days to go to the new volunteers' swear-in ceremony. It's a very special celebration that takes place in a fancy hotel in the city.
