We are in the midst of summer, and the temperatures have ranged in the 90's for the entire week. However, it is said that the heat brings rain, and we have been experiencing scattered showers to help us cool off!
I saw livestock such as cows, sheep and pigs, as well as domesticated animals such as dogs and cats.
I saw a couple of monkeys in the trees near the farm and also some massive ant colonies.
As the summer season begins here, the rainy season does as well! With the rain comes the incredible variety of fruits and vegetables that are not available during the months between March and November. The staple fruits of the central region include, mangoes, papaya, litchi and avocado.
