My Friend Hector Rayo

Sometimes I like to be different but I usually keep it simple. I like the way a lot of the people dress in the United States. It seems like people there are not as afraid to express themselves when it comes to choice in clothing."

What do you like to do in your free time?:

"I am very lazy. I prefer to sleep most of the day. Here we take siestas, which are basically short naps during the day. It is very common here and most local businesses recognize that time of day in their schedules and close for a few hours while everyone sleeps. I also like to cook asado, which is very popular here. Asado is one of my favorite things to cook and eat. It's a great time to enjoy some good food with friends and family.

In addition to eating, I like to watch movies and TV shows. Here, Hollywood shows are very popular. Right now my favorite shows to watch are the Game of Thrones and the Walking Dead. They are really great!"

What language(s) do you speak? How do you say "Hello" in your language?:

"I only speak Spanish. I speak a little English but that's only because I watch so much TV in English with Spanish subtitles. In my language we say "hola," which is usually accompanied by a kiss on the cheek. Everyone in Argentina knows that the way to greet someone is to kiss them on the cheek and say "hola" or "todo bien?" I know in some cultures it is uncommon to do so but here it is very normal. We even kiss strangers on the cheek that we haven't met yet. It's just a way to say "hello".

Do you have pets?:

"No."
