No, but I used to have giant snails (when I was a kid) and two aquatic turtles.
Yes, I lived in the U.S. in Denver, Colorado, for 2.5 years, and I traveled a lot around Colorado and the United States. I love hiking, so I visited around 20 U.S. national parks and many U.S. cities. Two of my favorite trips were a road trip to Yellowstone, Grand Teton and Glacier National Parks, and a trip to Hawaii. I also lived in Canada for 1.5 years in Banff National Park, so I did a bit of travelling around Canada as well.
While living in Europe, I travel occasionally, most often to Calabria, Italy, because my family has an apartment there. Italy is my favorite for its beaches and sea, but also for the Dolomite Mountains in the north, which offer some of the best hikes. I also really like Madeira, a Portuguese island in the Atlantic Ocean.
I’m a program coordinator for AEP, the undergraduate study abroad program of Charles University and CERGE-EI in Prague. We bring U.S. students to Prague to take liberal arts courses with a Central European focus, learn a foreign language and experience cultural immersion. (Liberal arts courses are classes in a wide range of subjects, like literature, the arts, social sciences, natural sciences, and math, that help students develop general knowledge, critical thinking and creative skills rather than get technical training for a specific job.)
I support students throughout their time abroad and coordinate trips, excursions and activities that help them explore the region.
