This weekend I went to Antwerp to visit my friends Leandra and Josephine. Leandra lives in Antwerp, so she took us to the Zaterdag Markt, or the Saturday Market, which is a diverse farmer's market that sells everything from fresh cheese to Vietnamese food! At this market, I was able to try Pastel de Nata, which is actually a Portugese egg tart. This tart has a buttery flaky crust with a sweet egg-y filling. It might sound weird to be eating an egg-based dessert, but it is delicious!
