In their daily life Field Notes, your traveler will interview a local person about their daily routines. They might interview a neighbor, a professor, or a local craftsperson - anyone with a story to tell.
These interview-based articles provide students with insights into a day in the life of someone from that culture. Through these narratives, students begin to comprehend that where a person lives significantly influences how they live.
Your traveler will ask the following questions:
What is your full name?
Where do you live? What is your house like?
What is your family like?
How do you get around?
What types of clothing do you like to wear?
What do you like to do in your free time?
What language(s) do you speak? How do you say "Hello" in your language?
Do you have pets?
Have you traveled? Where have you traveled to?
What do you do for work?
Is there anything else you would like to say to students in the United States?
