Field Note - Nature

Introduction:

Unique ecosystems around the world support different flora (plants) and fauna (animals). In Nature Field Notes, your traveler will research a specific plant or animal in their current location, sharing its scientific and cultural relevance with your students.

By delving into the plants and animals in their surroundings, students draw comparisons to the natural world around them. What kinds of living things do students encounter in their everyday life, and how do they connect to their environment and culture?

Your traveler will answer the following questions:

What does this creature or plant look like?

How did I feel when I saw it?

Where does it live?

How does it use its environment to survive?

What can harm this creature or plant? Are we worried about it?
