Travel News

This area is a UNESCO world heritage site and has beatiful rice terraces covering hills all around you. In Bali, rice is the main crop. Rice terraces appear as soon as you get out of the big cities. They are often very green and at sunset they reflect its colors. I really liked this place because it showed how they build these terrances in the hilly natural landscape. It also is a view into the past when there weren't many cities or towns in Bali and the whole area was just covered in rice fields.

Other Travel News from this week:

This week is my last week in Bali before I move to Yogykarta for a month. I have loved living in Bali, but I know I will be back and I'm excited to see how Yogykarta is different culturally than Bali.
