My friend visited and we did a lot of exploring in Northern Bali. I would guess we travelled around 100 miles.
I'm not sure exactly how far I have traveled on this journey so far, but I have covered a lot of miles. For starters my flight from San Francisco to Jakarta, Indonesia was at least 8,658 miles. After that I traveled to Bandung, which is another 93.2 miles. From Bandung I went to Bali which is around 720 miles. For the last 6 weeks I have been in Bali. While Bali is not very big, the little trips add up. I would guess I have travelled about 300 miles in Bali. So in total 8,658+93.2+720+300= 9771.2 miles! Pretty far already!
I usually get around by walking or motorbike. I live about a 10 minute walk from the beach and right next to a lot of shops and resturants. When I want to go exploring other parts of Bali, I rent a motorbike. I learned how to drive a motorbike in California and honestly love it. I think you can see so much more from a scooter than from a car, but you have to stay safe and make sure to wear a helmet!
