I had assigned reading for my class about southern African history. This week, we covered the conflict between the Hutu and the Tutsi people of Rwanda.
A group of my friends started a game of pick-up soccer on the rooftop of our apartment building! I joined in for a bit of fun while taking a break from homework. Here, people usually call it "football" instead of "soccer."
The E-Grand Prix World Championship was a huge event in town this weekend! Electric cars raced around the city!
