Vincent Batignole, Comics Artist

and computer.

What is your family like?:

I have two younger sisters named Mélanie and Elodie. They're nice now, but they used to be really mean to me when we were kids! Our mom was born in Senegal (in Africa) and our dad is French, so we three are mixed-race! I also have two nephews, a niece and a LOT of uncles and aunts.

How do you get around?:

Whenever I can, I try to use my feet and the bus. But when you live in and around Paris, the easiest way to get around is to use the subway and the Parisian trains we call RER.

What types of clothing do you like to wear?:

My favorite things to wear are my geeky T-shirts, especially if Super Mario is on them!

What do you like to do in your free time?:

If the sun is here, I love walking around in nature... even if there's not a lot of it in Paris! Otherwise I love playing video games and watching T.V. shows and cartoons, and I also like meeting my friends to play board games.

What language(s) do you speak? How do you say "Hello" in your language?:

I speak French and English. I used to speak a bit of German, too, when I was a kid, but I forgot everything as I grew up.

You can say "Bonjour" in French, or "Salut" (sa-LOO) if you're talking to a friend!

Do you have pets?:

Unfortunately, I don't. I live in an apartment, and I think it's better for animals to have a house and a garden to play.

Have you traveled? Where have you traveled to?:

I've traveled to Germany, England, Spain, Portugal, Turkey, Belgium and also to the United States!
