It was served with creamy mashed potatoes made with French butter. I also had some dessert, a fruit tart and a pastel de nata, a traditional tart from Portugal. It was all so delicious!

I've been reading Jules Verne's De la terre à la lune. It's the original French version of his novel From the Earth to the Moon. I love science fiction. Jules Verne (1828-1905) is one of the greatest writers of this genre. He was French, but his stories are well-known across the world. In fact, this story is about a bunch of Americans who tried to send some people to the moon. It took over 100 years before it happened in real life!
I love board games and card games. I bought a pack of cards from the store this week called the Game of Tarot (say it: ta-ROW). It's like a regular pack of cards, but they're a bit longer, and there are some different cards. It's a game that takes a lot of thought and strategy!
