From this point on, I knew I wanted to keep traveling and learning languages. I love to connect with people. We may seem to be different from other people on the outside. We all have very different families, religions, stories and languages, but we are also similar in many ways. These similarities are important because they make traveling a beautiful experience. You can find people in Poland that love Reese’s cups, and people in Chile that love to read the same books or watch the same movies.
Before I left for Poland, I thought it was impossible to travel, but now I am about to visit my 21st country—Bolivia. I was inspired to come to Chile because of the language and the art. Some people use art to express their feelings, their stories, their wishes and many other things. In Chile, many people use art to protest or ask their government to make change in a peaceful way. They paint big pictures (or murals) all over the city. This is very interesting for me because it mixes art and politics. In Santiago, I like walking through the streets and taking pictures of all the artwork to understand how all these paintings fit into the story of Chile. In my free time, I love to go to the movies, read books, write poems and take pictures. I also love to walk, meet new people and practice Spanish. While I am living here, I want to travel as much as possible, and I hope to show you the beauty of this country!
