In this past week along, we have rowed 480 miles! We about 20% of the way to Antigua, which is another 2,500 miles to the west of us in the Caribbean Sea.
Having rowed about 500 miles of a 3,000-mile journey, we are approximately one-sixth of the way finished.
This question is an easy one: rowing! The boat is our home at sea, and the only break we get from rowing is the occasional “surfing” we do when the waves and wind are just right.
The moon has also been massive in the sky. We saw a rare sight known as a “moonbow,” which is like a nighttime rainbow that circles the moon. We also saw a flying fish!
We honestly have no idea! We know when it’s day, and we know when’s night, and we often have no clue what day it is. Being at sea has a strange way of making that information seem less important. We live in the moment.
