Getting From Here to There

The train is more crowded and takes longer than the bus.

How did I feel when I tried this way of getting around?:

Driving in petit taxis makes you want to check if your seat belt is on. The drivers drive really fast! My first time driving in a petit taxi, I was holding on tight to my seat because I felt that I would be thrown out of the car. But this is normal in Morocco. Although it might seem as if the driver is out of control, there are hardly any accidents. It is very scary, yet very impressive as well.

Is this way of getting around connected to the culture and environment, How?:

Yes! Petit taxis, grand taxis, trains and buses are good because they reduce the number of cars on the road. This helps manage the number of negative emissions released in the air which negatively affects the environment. Also, not a lot of people in Morocco have a driver license and a car. This makes it very important to have a different means of transportation. All the mentioned forms of transportation help the local people and the environment.
