My favorite part was taking a cable car up the mountain to get there. The views were beautiful, and we arrived right at sunset!
Barcelona is famous for the work of Antoni Gaudí who was a very unique architect. One of the things that makes his architecture so unique is how nature inspired his design. Gaudí studied the shapes that we see in nature and incorporated them into his buildings. An example of this is the Sagrada Família, a very famous church in Barcelona. Gaudí designed the inside of the church to look like a forest–all of the pillars inside the church are shaped like trees! It was a really incredible building to be in; I loved it!
