A Parisian Way of Life

Introduction:

This article is dedicated to my friend Soufiane whom I met during my time here in Paris. He has been a huge help in helping my friends and me assimilate here in Paris. He lives in the other NYU residence hall that has a mixture of exchange students. He helps us with our French, and in return we share whatever we can about the American culture. He is super nice and offered to help me with this article!

What is your full name?:

Soufiane Harguil

Where do you live? What is your house like?:

I live in the 11th arrondissment on a very busy street called Oberkampf. It is a very animated area. I live in an apartment which is a small studio, only 18 square meters. The bedroom is in the same room as a kitchen. It is also a school residence, with plenty of American people and other exchange students.

What is your family like?:

I have a mom and a dad and a little brother who is seventeen. They all live in my home city of Agadir, Morocco.

How do you get around?:

I always take the metro. I take taxis when I leave work late at night.

What types of clothing do you like to wear?:

It depends. For my internship, I wear suits. If I go to class or I go out, I wear a button-up shirt or sweater and trousers or jeans with my Stan Smith shoes.
