The weather was constantly changing this week! As I am typing this out right now, it is around 75 degrees Fahrenheit with sunny blue skies and some clouds in the sky here and there--one of the hottest days I've experienced so far while being in Japan. However, two days ago, it was raining all day long, with torrential downpours hour after hour! And once the rain finally stopped, it was immediately sunny with bright sun rays and high humidity. The weather in Tokyo changes depending on the day, so it's always good to be prepared for any weather situation here. For example, I always have my umbrella and sunscreen in my bag before I leave the house.
I saw a variety of different animals this week! For example, while walking across a bridge on my way to a cafe, I saw a bird called a Little Egret. Little egrets are small herons with long black beaks, long black legs and white feathers. I often spot these herons around shallow rivers or creeks, poking their beaks into the water looking for food.
