I live in a very interesting place, the Cité internationale universitaire de Paris (International University City of Paris), which is a large campus with housing for university and graduate students from all over the world. The International House, which is the central building on campus, was actually designed by an American architect, Jean-Frécéric Larson, and its construction was funded by the American John D. Rockefeller Jr.
I’m always blown away by the sheer density of things to see and do in Paris. Even after going to more museums, concerts, parks, and events than I can keep track of, it feels like I’ve only gotten the tip of the cultural iceberg here. Even though I didn’t travel much outside of the city this week, I still kept very busy!
