The term "trees" encompasses a wide spectrum of plants. Each "type" of tree can vary greatly in its resilience towards different factors, such as temperature, exposure to sunlight, availability of water, diseases, insects, and more. I'm not particularly well-versed in species of trees, but I'm not worried about the trees here in Sweden. My theory is that if they have survived in the extreme cold of Swedish winters for so long, there's probably not much in their current environment that could harm them.
On a more serious note, I do believe we could all learn from Sweden's simple approach to interacting with nature— be respectful of your environment. You're going to hear this again and again as you get older, but it doesn't make this message any less important. We only have one earth, so let's do our best to take care of it!
