Meet Angus, a Hong Kong Kid

What subjects do you study in school, and which one is your favorite?:

I take a class on computers, music, science and library. We sometimes have extra tutorials, where some people get tutoring and others do homework. I don’t have a favorite class, but I guess I like learning about computers.

What is your homework like?:

I have a lot of homework. A lot of times I'll get started on it at school. Sometimes I do homework in class. I usually get homework for Chinese, math and English. In Chinese, we learn prose, reading and workbooks. In English, we have a lot of worksheets. One night I had 20 different homework assignments and it took me two hours to complete!

What do you like to do after school? Do you have a favorite sport or game?:

Mum takes me to go to Boy Scouts on Mondays. Wednesdays, I go to tutoring. I do that three days in the week, actually. I have to go to Chinese and English tutoring. Saturday mornings, I have piano class. For fun, I play on my phone a lot. I also play on my Nintendo Switch.

Who is your favorite famous person?:

I don’t think I have one. Maybe FAMA (a Cantonese rapper)?

What kinds of music do you listen to?:

I like to listen to rap music. English rap. Cantonese rap. I really like FAMA!

What would you like to be when you grow up?:

I am not sure, actually.

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?:

I would go to Japan or Taiwan. I could buy a lot of things in Japan. There’s a lot of good food in Taiwan.
