The temperature in Amsterdam has been very mild, ranging from 55-70 degrees Fahrenheit. This week was unusual because almost every day was sunny without the characteristic rain showers. It has been very windy on my bike rides home from work!
Amsterdam does not have a wide diversity of animal species. When I biked the streets of Amsterdam, I passed a lot of pigeons. Additionally, since there are a lot of waterways, I also saw ducks (tufted duck and maillard), swans and other small bird species.
I live on an upper floor in an apartment building in Rembrandt park. This week with the clear weather, I was able to see the most beautiful sunsets over the city from the sky!
One of the reasons biking is so popular here is because the land is so flat. It only gets tricky with the wind.
