Have you ever wondered what it's like to be a kid in Madrid? Below are the responses of some of my students in their first year of high school. They are around 12 years old.
For breakfast, I eat pan con tomate (bread with tomato). I usually eat meat or pasta for lunch and sometimes rice and chicken for dinner.
I live in a flat (apartment) in Madrid.
I clean the plates in the kitchen and clean my room.
My mom is a receptionist. My dad works at the bank.
School starts at 8:20 in the morning. I go home at 3:25 in the afternoon.
I take the bus to school or I walk. I always go by myself.
