Usually, Tania will wear flip-flops, light shirts, shorts and dresses. But in the winter, the temperature can drop to around 60°F and she will switch to wearing jackets and pants.
In her free time, Tania enjoys cooking meals, reading books in English and finding new places to explore in Minas Gerais. She also likes to spend time with her family and friends by cooking churrasco (barbecue) in her backyard.
Tania speaks Portuguese, English and a little bit of Spanish. In Portuguese, people say "olá" to greet one another.
Tania and her husband have one little dog named Julie! They take Julie with them on many of their vacations around Brazil. Whenever they travel with Julie, they always give her some of the local cuisine. Do you have any pets? Are your pets allowed to eat human food?
Tania traveled all around the world to explore different cultures and languages. She has a wall of magnets from all the different countries she has visited. These countries include the United States, Australia, Mexico, France, England, Italy, Egypt and South Africa!
Tania works at the Federal University of Lavras as an English language professor. At the university, she helps Brazilian students learn to feel comfortable speaking English. With her help, many students have had the opportunity to study and travel in the United States.
