Nature in New Zealand

Introduction:

I thoroughly enjoy going to different nature parks and beaches around New Zealand because every area is just so stunning. I try to get around the area as much as I can. Thankfully, my family is right next to quite a few parks and beaches, so I go to them frequently. I like to talk a walk to a different place everyday after school.

What does this creature or plant look like?:

This scene in the picture is the ocean right beside my host family's house. There is a park associated with it, as well, so they have made a picture spot for tourists.

How did I feel when I saw it?:

I was smiling from ear to ear whenever I saw this stunning view. The sun was setting, so it was even prettier. It made me never want to leave New Zealand.

Where does it live?:

This is called Shakespeare park in Whangaparaoa, New Zealand.

How does it use its environment to survive?:

It relies on the inhabitants to sustain a healthy environment. Tourists are not allowed to take trash or anything that could harm the earth into the area.

What can harm this creature or plant? Are we worried about it?:

If people throw their trash away on the ground, it could harm the environment. This is a big worry, so New Zealand has strict rules set to protect their environment.
